“   在古晋若提起炒粿，相信大家第一时间就联想到“青山角炒粿”。原因无他，这里的炒粿走过逾40年的岁月，仍一贯坚持原味，将这种源自中国潮汕地区的乡土小吃，在古晋发扬光大。

炒粿，方言发音为“Cha Kueh”，乃早年潮州人移民南洋後引进的传统食品，包括西马各地与新加坡均可发现炒粿的存在。而在历经数十年岁月的淘洗後，炒粿如今亦已发展为古晋的特色小吃之一。

事实上，古晋的炒粿，与西马的炒粿角与炒萝卜糕可说是“一脉相传”，即以白米为主要食材，制作方式也大同小异。然而若谈及烹调法，则是五花八门，却各有各精采与特色。。。。。”

『古晉潮州炒粿』1 Kuching Chaozhou Cha Kueh

『古晉潮州炒粿』 - 古晋的古早味小吃之一。

Kuching Chaozhou Cha Kueh  (stir fried radish cake) is another local delicacy.

 潮州炒粿，口味分为咸与甜两种。咸的粿 (菜头粿/萝卜糕 -wiki) 在蒸煮时，米糊会加萝卜丝与盐。而甜口味的白粿，则没有加入萝卜丝，米糊会加些白糖调味。
There are two types of Chaozhou Cha Kueh you can requests, savoury (white) and sweet (black) flavors. For savoury version (Fried Radish Cake / Turnip Cake), shredded radish and salt are added during steaming of rice paste. The sweet version is without radish, some sugar added into rice paste while steaming.

炒粿时把粿切成小块状，加上食油在平底圆锅上翻炒，加入蒜米、菜脯碎、鸡蛋及酱油，稍微炒至焦香，別炒得过焦，即呈现出香喷喷的咸炒粿; 而甜口味的炒粿，不加鸡蛋，在炒粿起锅前加了亚答糖或甜浆，即是美味无比的炒甜粿!
During cooking, cakes will cut to small pieces in the flat round frying pan, adding cooking oil, chopped garlic, dried radish, egg and soy sauce, stir-fry until slightly burnt, do not over burnt, which will presents tasty savoury Cha Kueh; Same cooking procedures for the sweet version, but without adding egg, palm sugar or sweat soy sauce added to it for that sweetness, that is the delicious sweet Cha Kueh!
